Joan Miró Domino Set
A Joan Miró domino game set. During the years 1948-1950 Joan Miro made a series of 72 lithographs to illustrate the poem “Parler Seul” by Tristan Tzara, a Romanian and French avant-garde poet and a central figure in the Dada movement. In 1958, sets of dominoes were made based upon the images from seven of those drawings. It is estimated that only 2,000 total sets were made, although sets are unnumbered.
