A charming, midcentury, set of six, French Faïence oyster plates, circa 1950-1960. Made by the Niderviller Faïencery in the Majolica glazed, Mousse pattern in swirled earth tones of greens, ochre and black, topped with a white spatter. Hand-painted and molded with six oyster wells surrounding a central well for either lemon or a dipping sauce. The maker’s mark on the verso, peinte main, France. Measure: 10 in D x .75 in H
