A handsome cast brass base raised on three ball feet, with a fluted columnar stem embraced by three sweeping laurel garland supports. The rich patina and quality of casting suggest considerable age. Likely once part of a larger piece, perhaps a candelabra or urn, the upper element now lost, though the base remains a fine and characterful object in its own right.
