One of my true joys in life is unwrapping a fresh scented candle, a second joy is someone complimenting on the smell of ones home. Its the foundation to a guests experience of the interaction. Rarely do I lay this foundation correctly but sometimes, when my ducks are in order and I've given that candle its time to infuse itself into every corner I feel like a proper human being. This all being said, I of course blow the candle out before supper, it can steam roll a good bite.

This all came about as over the weekend I popped into the Ikea on Kings Street in Hammersmith, it was a big deal when Ikea showed itself in that corner of London and I will give them their dues.
