So between you and me, I don't have £5,000 to spend this month. I have closer to £100, which could well go on something in the below. I wanted to enact this thought experiment so that we could hover over the goods of those who perhaps get left out of the 'Antiques That Caught My Eye' or a '100 Pieces of Homeware For Under £100'. So really it's a hodgepodge of goods dreamt up this week, as we thought you too might be thinking about ways to enhance your outdoor life and other such fun, frolicsome things that you probably won't buy but may well enjoy seeing. We have tried to keep a mind on the price so hopefully there is something for everyone and as ever we have some delightful garden antiques at the bottom.

So fabrics and I have always got on like great mates but wallpapers, we have had to find our rhythm. It doesn't mean the friendship is any less important it just perhaps means that we are a little more tentative with one another. I put this down to much of my early career seeing interior designers cover houses with wallpaper. Each room would have a different theme and it used to give me quite the headache, I also thought that wallpaper was doing far too much of the heavy lift

I don't know if you have found this but whenever I look at Instagram, Substack or a magazine I am always enticed into believing some object should really be mine and then I find the price and I think well you can stay right where you are. I have long suspected I am just cheap, and the more I see these lists and pages of things to purchase I have come to accept it as fact. I am a lady who likes a deal.
