Members - 100 'Things' For Under £100, September 2025
Money slips through my fingers as if it were sand. One minute I feel quite flush, the next I’m anxiously waiting for the word Approved to flash up on the cashier’s register. That sensation has only grown sharper with the pinch of inflation over the past five years.
So, in the spirit of browsing with a more realistic eye — rather than a fanciful one — we’ve raked together this small selection for some good, old-fashioned window-shopping. Keep your pennies tight to your chest, of course, but if you’re in need of a little pick-me-up, I hazard a guess something below may prove tempting.
I’ll admit we are usually far more independent-focused (and rightly so, it ought to remain our raison d’être). Still, every so often we cast an eye at the high street — those mammoths of the market — to see if anything deserves a swipe. I’d say one or two pieces are worth a second look.
