Members - Things I Would Buy This Month With £5,000 - September 2026
One of these days I will stay within the budget, and that day is today. I have, in fact, left this article with 15p to spare. I couldn't tell you how I've done it - just call me a money-saving expert.
The list will show that my mind has been firmly directed towards autumn, after the sturdy heat of summer, I am hoping for gentle rain and days that don't leave me beetroot red. I don't want to over-egg the pudding, but really, you will see some rather snazzy knitwear below, along with some very endearing interiors pieces, round of applause for three companies who always come with the goods - Pentreath & Hall - a non stop riot of colour, Berdoulat - a monument to glorious human made delights and Popham - whose buyer should have a raise, just a charming run of goods.
