We are back! September is here and we could not wait to see the stock that was sitting pretty on this fabulous set of antique dealers' sites. We have, as ever, divided it up into two sections, with the first twenty items being over £500, and in some cases well over, and then a lovely set of ten objects that are all under £500 at the end. Of course we'd all like to get our hands on number 1, it is a 20th century icon while also being incredibly useful, but for that we'd need far more than the coffers currently in my bank account.
I don't think it would be hard to see what sort of rooms I would create if I were an interior designer. Some sort of white on the walls, perhaps on the daring occasion a soft lemon or blue, then, my friends, I'd be filling those rooms with various pieces of furniture, wood mostly, a corner for a postmodern chair, something like number 11, and perhaps a fossil fireplace like the one you'll see at number 21. All in all, the room would dandy of delights, but it would have to be as you'd be paying it off for a fair few years to come.
