Pair of 1920s Pewter Candelabras
Measures . 44cm x 36 cm
A striking pair of pewter candelabras, each with six branches arranged symmetrically on either side of a turned central stem, the pierced and scrolling arms cast in the Art Nouveau manner. Each branch terminates in a beaded drip pan and turned socket. The domed bases are embossed with acanthus and scrollwork, the whole surface with a pleasing hammered texture throughout. Scandinavian, circa 1920 to 1930.
