Pair of Two-Light Pewter Candelabra by C.G. Hallberg
A matched pair of two-branch pewter candelabra by the celebrated Swedish silversmith C.G. Hallberg, dating to the 1930s and exemplifying the Art Deco style at its most refined. Each piece rises from a stepped rectangular base with beaded border detail, with a crescent-shaped arm supporting two candle sockets flanking a central figurative finial — one depicting a male athlete triumphantly raising a laurel wreath, the other a javelin thrower in dynamic mid-cast pose.
