I believe this to be Krishna and Kaliya Naag -
The Yamuna River used to be home to a gigantic black snake by the name of Kaliya. With his venom, he tainted the river's water. The exceedingly powerful serpent terrified the residents of Vrindavan. Krishna decided to discipline Kaliya one day.
