don- Things To Do In June 2025Tat London - Things To Do In June 2025
June - what a lovely month it is. We’re now in full swing of spring, revelling in those long, lovely days. We must savour every slice of sunshine that comes our way, lifting our faces from those ghastly screens, yes, even the one you’re reading this on. We want to visit every gallery humanly possible, see marvellous actors tread the boards, and, of course, get our noses into as many gardens as we can.
Now - 1st June
This June, Constellations — the debut joint exhibition from husband-and-wife duo Freyja Lee and Rollo Dunford Wood — opens at Pentreath & Hall. The show combines their gilded ceramic paintings, weaving mythical figures and creatures into a shared creative vision. Freyja, a printmaker turned ceramicist, and Rollo, a designer returning to his pottery roots, blend craft and storytelling in this intimate collaboration. Hosted at Pentreath & Hall’s new Rugby Street showroom, the collection will be on view throughout June.
The Cob Gallery presents Like Lovers Do, the UK debut solo show by American artist Katelyn Eichwald.
Featuring new paintings and collages, the exhibition explores the emotional world of girlhood—part shrine, part daydream. Eichwald captures longing as atmosphere, not identity, drawing on pop culture icons like DiCaprio and Winona Ryder as symbols of desire and projection. Her work hovers in a space between memory and fantasy, where yearning matters more than having. Rendered in soft pastels, her figures drift between icon and adolescent, always rewinding, always watching.
Miss Myrtle wants peace. But trouble keeps showing up with her grandson, his “close friend,” and a drunk using her garden wall as a toilet. As her mind begins to slip, long-buried questions about love, grief, and the past refuse to stay hidden. A warm, witty new play about memory, family, and facing life head-on: written by Danny James King. Directed by Taio Lawson (an unfinished man, Yard).
Price: £10 - £35
