This 1930s table lamp pairs a polished light-metal stem with a richly coloured glass shade, demonstrating the period’s fascination with modern materials and streamlined form. The octagonal base, stepped and slightly architectural in character, anchors the piece with a quiet solidity. Rising from it is a column punctuated by simple ribbed rings, a detail that softens the geometry and hints at the era’s early flirtation with industrial design.
