A pair of brass wall sconces shaped as rising fans of rounded petals, each outlined with a line of finely punched dots that emphasise the curve of the form and catch the candlelight. The turned bases are kept simple so the sculptural fronts hold the attention. The brass has aged with a warm, even patina that gives the sconces a gentle glow when lit. Made in Graneberg, they reflect the careful handwork associated with smaller Swedish metal workshops of the period.
