A striking example of mid-century Scandinavian design, this table lamp forms part of Carl-Harry Stålhane’s Fibula series for Rörstrand. The cylindrical base, executed in richly glazed stoneware, is decorated with a stylised sun motif, referencing ancient Nordic symbols while embracing the modernist idiom. Stålhane, one of Sweden's foremost ceramicists, was known for his refined forms and innovative glazes.
