London Dream Houses For £2 Million & Under, March 2026

I'd like you to keep two things in mind when perusing the below. Rod For One's Own Back & Subjective. We will conquer the first issue. While £2 million is a life changing, win the lottery, kiss your job goodbye kind of money, in London it goes a lot quicker than it should. Although we have seen the madness of house prices come down a little, in all reality we are still living in one of the most expensive cities in the world. So not only are you faced with looking at one overpriced terraced house after another, it becomes rather dull and that rod certainly felt strapped to my back.

The subjective issue, well we know that goes for all the Tat articles but I found this one particularly hard. Firstly, as I have said before, much of my London fancies really are the ones left untouched. I know it means far more work for you, but really it's better throwing out deep pile carpet than a bulky white kitchen. At least with these houses you know the place has been well loved rather than loved for a season and thrown out with the change of tide. So with many of the below I feel you might think me mad, that the word Dream has no place in this rhetoric, but I promise that I stand by the structures and if you can humour me a little then you too might see the beauty in the rather modest.

All in all I have done my very best and I will say that I far prefer to cast our net further afield but for the moment, London is Calling!
