Oh, The Things I've Seen, September 2026
Here I document all those things that I have enjoyed over the past few weeks. One rant, but only one this month.
If you're a savvy Instagram user, you'll already be following people like Maria Shollenbarger, the longtime travel editor of the Financial Times' HTSI. As her title suggests, she is a travel aficionado, and her recommendations are not to be taken lightly. She recently posted about Riad Mena, a gloriously attractive riad in the heart of Marrakech. I am no stranger to an attractive riad, but golly, this one takes the biscuit, or, more fittingly, the sfenj (a fried dough ring popular in Marrakech). So this recommendation is twofold: Maria Shollenbarger and Riad Mena.
