Oh The Things I've Seen

It has been rather a long time since I wrote one of these. I slightly dread them. There is always a great deal I want to say, but if I am honest I find the writing of it quite draining. By the end I start to sound like a holiday rep on amphetamines, using the word 'wonderful' like I am stuck on repeat. I realise can be a tiring combination. Believe me, it is as tiring to write as it is to read.

All that said, I do feel strongly about everything below. I like to think that, if you are a Tat subscriber, this is the sort of thing you might be after. Or I may have got it terribly, terribly wrong.

There are interiors, house rentals, houses for sale, stationery and more besides. I do hope you enjoy it. This holiday rep is now officially spent.

We talk a great deal about luxury at Tat. For us, it is not a logo or a price point. It is the knowledge that everyone in the manufacturing chain benefits from your purchase, that the money you are paying is for craftsmanship, and that there is no vast venture capitalist quietly stripping the product of meaning, no shareholders rattling the gates for their pound of flesh. Dent & Hellyer has the firm stamp of luxury.

Originally founded in 1730, Dent & Hellyer made taps and sanitary ware from its London workshops. Revitalised in 2022, the company now produces a small but growing range of handcrafted brass taps from its riverside South London workshop. We couldn't be happier about introducing them to you.
