Even though it has been years since I have stepped foot in a school, September can't help but feel like the start of a new school term (ugh). This, coupled with the COVID hangover of working from home we thought it would be good to gather up some of the great spaces to work from this Autumn.

The Barbican has a host of different areas for you to set yourself up for the day. You can work there in the day and catch a film or a bite in the evening.
Little Note: Anyone is welcome to visit the Barbican libraries, but to borrow items, you will need to become a member.

Little Note: The Picturehouse Central offers a couple of options. Our favourite is the First-floor Restaurant. Afterwards, you've got to catch a film. What a perfect end to the working day. You can become a member and receive access to their members' bar, which has one of the best rooftops in central London.

Little Note: For those coffee enthusiasts this is the place for you, Prufrock Coffee serves coffee from roasters from Europe and beyond, including Five Elephant, Koppi Coffee, Coffee Collective, Tim Wendelboe, La Cabra, Drop Coffee, Belleville and many more.

Little Note: Want a little glam in your working day? Get yourself to the Castle Cinema Bar. You can grab a drink, snacks or even a pizza whilst you work. If you're a member, you're able to get 10% off everything!

Collective Auction Rooms has everything you could possibly need - breakout space, hot-desking, meeting rooms and individual lockable offices. You have to apply to become a member and abide by their main rule - don’t be an arse.
Opening times - 9am-9pm
On the fifth floor of the amazing bookshop, Foyles, there is an incredible cafe. After browsing for your next page-turner you can set up there and grab a coffee and a bite to eat.
Opening times - 10am - 6pm
Sit down and grab a drink whilst you work on your laptop by the beautiful and busy Southbank. Here at the Southbank Centre, you have a choice of two cafes, Riverside Terrace Cafe or Hayward Gallery Cafe.
