We've all been there, well I certainly have, where you set your heart on fabric, you have a chair ready to go, and then the upholster says we will need around six metres, gulp. The numbers quickly add up, and that bargain you thought you had garnered for yourself quickly looks like the most expensive thing since the new boiler. I wanted to help with those moments, so I spent rather a good amount of time sneaking around the web and trying to find designs at a price I thought reasonable. My budget was £100 per metre, I agree still a costly sum, but you have to start somewhere, and I did manage to find some pieces in the £20s and below, so hopefully, whatever your current budget, there could be a fabric or a company that might lead you to happy match.
