Ten Properties To Make The Perfect Commune, September 2026
Commune. It doesn't have great connotations — some of these properties do feel like the setting of a 1960s documentary looking into the start of a cult. I personally have always been anti-cult, but the idea of a commune does fill me with some hope. I am for multi-generational living, I am for multi-parenting, I am very much for collective cooking, and a huge fan of chatting in the kitchen. Yes, this is the bright side of commune living, but I do believe there is something in it.
