London's property market is, at present, a study in contradictions. Across much of the city, sellers are holding their nerve, waiting, watching, reluctant to commit, and the result is a thinning of supply that makes the search for something genuinely considered, something specific, considerably harder than it ought to be. If you know what you want, the market is not always obliging.
Pockets of real activity do exist, however: there are neighbourhoods where well-priced homes are drawing multiple buyers almost immediately, with asking prices met and in some cases exceeded, proof, if any were needed, that quality and honest pricing remain a powerful combination.
At Sekforde, we've always believed that great houses resist easy categorisation. We've previously shared properties that wear their history on their sleeve, the kind of houses with layers, with character accumulated over centuries, and we loved them for it. This selection takes a different view of the same conviction.
