Teresa Rivera began her creative life in New York where she trained as a fine artist before moving to London and working in interior design before turning to furniture making. She brings a thoughtful and measured approach to timber and her pieces have a clarity that comes from a deep understanding of form and craft. Teresa’s work feels considered and confident and there is a calm beauty to the way she reimagines everyday objects. I am one of her fans as I am sure you will be or perhaps already are, so we can all be thankful that she has made the time to bestow this excellent list of gifts on us.

Rush woven bags from Studio Merriman please! Counting the days until her next sample sale.

Any and every box of matches made by The Archivist. After using up the matches, I want to repurpose the box for my keepsakes. Or tack them to the wall as tiny artwork!

This silk hot water bottle cover from Cesca Dvorak is at the top of my list.

Fiona from Social Snacking House has just launched a ceramics collection, and I want one of everything. I don't even like astrology.

All I want is to drink wine from beautiful glasses. With ice! I don't care how contentious that is my dream. I'll start with a dozen of these from Gathered Glass.

I have a merino lambswool hood from Simswear that is now permanently fixed to my head. I now need all

the other colours. Embarrassingly, I'm the model on the website for the red hood. No one needs to see their own face when their dream shopping...

I need these wax tablets from Santa Maria Novella for every drawer in my house and studio. Again, can't pick which scent is best, so I'll have to have them all.

These Space Hoops from Lara Stafford Deitsch Jewellery! I got the opportunity to borrow them to a

wedding and I need them in my life permanently.

My festive choice - these gorgeous embroidered ornaments from Sow Studio.

W&R giftcard! Taking the pressure off gift giving - we've designed customisable lamps and objects. My favourite combo changes every day. Today's fave: our Dancing Lamp with a raw steel lampshade & walnut base.

Favourite Christmas Drink

For a drink - just give me something of a pet-nat, organic sparkling. It's pretty hangover-proof (within reason), and the fizz makes it feel festive. I'm eyeing up this one from Top Cuvee.

Favourite Christmas Film

I grew up watching this stop motion film from the 70's every Christmas. Unfortunately for my husband, I quote it all-year-round.
