I know it’s early, but with everyone tightening their belts it feels sensible to spread the spend across as many weeks as possible. So forgive me if this feels a little eager. Personally, I’ve never felt more ready for Christmas. Don’t tell anyone, but in the design world everyone seems to clock off for a full fortnight. The emails dry up and I revel in it. A gift in itself, although not one I can wrap up and present to my family, so a gift guide still seems required.
As always, we’ve focused on independent companies. A couple of bigger ones may have slipped in, but it feels more vital than ever to put our money towards independents, where the transaction lands with a person rather than a platform. I know this because Char and I still get a small thrill with each Tat purchase.
If some of the prices make you feel a touch queasy, fear not. Everything has crept up, of course, but we’ve gathered a truly blissful selection of pieces on Gifts & Stocking Fillers for £35 and under.
There are about 150 gifts below. I apologise for the abundance. I only hope it proves as helpful as a gift guide can be.
