Antiques That Caught My Eye (£500 & Under), October 2025

Four Quarters

We released this list last week, but half the items were on sale at the time and fit the criteria of being under £500. To my shock and horror, when reviewing it again, I realised that many had since gone back up in price and were now well over their previously stated amount. It’s a tricky list to pull together, as between the time of research and publication, many of these beauties get snapped up — more’s the pity.

There were some absolutely delightful rabbit lino prints from Vintage on the Vine that sat on their site for £70; whoever managed to grab all six should be very pleased with themselves.

That said, there are still some real winners below. I’m always charmed by the furniture Stowaway manages to find — consistently interesting and well-priced. Modants, too, continues to show exemplary lighting at truly reasonable prices, which I for one find deeply impressive.
