Members - Around Twenty-Five Dream Houses For £2 Million & Under, July 2026
Last month's Dream Houses were, in fact, some of my favourite houses out there. If you want to take a trip down memory lane, click here. That being said, I don't think I have done too badly with the below. That is if you are very much an admirer of the English country house, no, not the smashing great mansions, these are more the rectory, think Bennets not Bingleys (and if you don't get that reference, I will hazard a guess that the below will do nothing for you). Even if you aren't looking to move, I would still say have a gander at the below, lots of delightful interiors, some unremarkable but some really ravishing. A great house in Deal which I have a lot of admiration for.
The market seems to be moving at a steady pace, yes the word before that is slow, and yes that too is the case. Houses marked with a price ready to sell are getting off the starting blocks, but those sticking to their expensive guns, well, they are sitting pretty.
All in all, we have to see what our next PM says, and then if we don't like his choices, I am sure there will be another PM around the corner.
