Things I Would Buy This Month With £5,000, October 2026
Here we go again with an imaginary £5,000. Since it isn't our money, we could be rather outlandish with our choices, but I still like to keep within some kind of budget, otherwise one thing could swallow all the coins. This month, that one thing was the Alabaster Vase by Oliver Cook, for £2,900, sold through Flow Gallery, which I resisted adding to the list. First off, I adore Flow Gallery. Their curation is so thoughtful that scrolling through their offerings is a genuine joy. I have instead included their oval plate for the rather more modest sum of £80: modest in price, but not in beauty.
