The capital is still one of the greatest places on earth, and while I won’t be running for mayor any time soon, I will be highlighting some of the finest properties the Big Smoke has to offer. Compared with our other “Dream Property” article, you do realise the bang for your buck in the capital is lacking. But can you put a price on drinks in Soho, wandering into the National Gallery on a Wednesday morning, or catching a last-minute show at the Noël Coward Theatre? Obviously the The Great Wren has its issues, one can’t deny it, but on the whole it’s a rather incredible 36 miles.
If it were me with £2 million burning a hole in my pocket, I’d have to go for number 1, which I feel must have been on this list before. It’s such an incredible property, and for the right sensitive soul it would be just the ticket. I also fell head over heels for number 20. Who doesn’t want to live in Bloomsbury? And in a flat with such ravishing bones, one wouldn’t have to do much from there.
