Jessie Randall created Loeffler Randall in 2004 with her husband Brian out of their apartment in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn. Fifteen years and three children later, they are still going strong – making distinctive products in small, considered batches with attention to every detail. Sounds right up your street? If you plan to visit the US, you must go to Round Top Antique Show. I went for the first time. Round Top is a tiny town, it's a 'blink, and you'll miss it' kind of place, boasting a population of 88. But it is home to the Round Top Antiques Show, which is a mecca for those on the hunt for exciting and rare finds. I found it inspiring and the people to be wonderfully friendly and warm.

My friend Gisela is an art historian who gives art walks in NYC and other places. She recently posted a photo of this painting from the Clark Institute. The colours and vibrancy of the flowers have lingered in my mind.

I love flowers so much, and my latest favourites are the delicate bright yellow puffs of the mimosa. They make such a sophisticated statement.

Headboards
I just had a custom headboard made with fabric from our collection. It looks wonderful and couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Making something custom is so worth it!
I've been a huge Farrow and Ball paint fan over the years but just recently discovered their simple striped wallpaper. I'm putting it up in the tiny powder room by my kitchen.

My friends Liz and Lizzy designed these beautiful and very useful pouches. I have them in every size and pattern. My favourite is the XL size in the brown Echinacea print- it is divine. They are now my essential travel companion.
