No, Airbnb doesn’t pay me for this. I’ve just developed a strange addiction to searching for the best Airbnbs in the UK. Maybe it’s my fascination with snooping around people’s homes, or maybe it’s because I’m a sucker for a good daydream. Either way, I’ve spent far too much time daydreaming, and now I’m dragging you into it—offering up a little distraction and maybe even some holiday inspiration. I promise this will be my last one for 2023.

The Gamekeeper’s cottage dates back to 1798, surrounded by 18 acres of private ground and adjoins Sissinghust Castle Estate.
Grade II Listed Coastal Farm Cottage ‘The Wobbin’ dates back to the 1800s. You can walk for miles along the ‘Sea Wall’; on the other side, you can find Nature reserves and marshes.

Glenternie House dates from around 1870 and was built for David Kidd, Esq, the inventor of the modern gummed envelope. The house is near the town of Pebbles, the Dawyck Botanic Gardens, and Traquair House.
It is located on the shores of Loch Awe, a large body of fresh water in the Scottish Highlands. Close by to the magnificent ruins of Kilchurn Castle, which was built in the mid-1400s.
This beautiful Farmhouse is part of Banchory Farm, which contains livestock. It is only a 10-minute drive away from some beautiful sandy beaches and 40 minutes from Edinburgh.
The lovely stone cottage is part of the historic gardens of High Glanau Manor, which was the home of H. Avray Tipping (1855-1933), the Architectural Editor of Country Life Magazine from 1907. Many original features still stand, such as the glasshouse, pool, and double herbaceous borders. The cottage offers stunning views of the mountain range Brecon Beacons.
