Things To Do In June 2026
I cannot help but be astounded by the amount Charlotte Becque has packed into this month. She will have us run through the soles of our shoes if we aren't careful. There are pub openings, exhibitions, WOWhouses to see, Art Weekends to take part in and fairs to attend. All in all I can say we have your every movement covered, not in a surveillance kind of way, more a joyful abundance kind of way.
Now - 1st June
Bold Visions, Scottish Art 1900–1945 explores the dynamic evolution of Scottish art in the first half of the twentieth century, showcasing how artists embraced modern movements while maintaining a distinct national perspective. Featuring works shaped by influences from Post Impressionism, Futurism and Vorticism, the exhibition reveals a vibrant artistic community connected through experimentation, collaboration and international exchange.
Spruce is a newly opened independent café and wine bar in Battersea, offering speciality coffee, natural wines and relaxed all day dining in a warm and stylish neighbourhood setting. ARTIST ROOMS: Ed Ruscha explores the iconic work of Ed Ruscha through paintings, photographs, books and lithographs inspired by the urban landscapes of America. Featuring works such as Twentysix Gasoline Stations and his celebrated text based pieces, the free display captures the architecture, vastness and visual culture of the American road trip.

Christo exhibition at Gagosian brings together original drawings, collages and prints by Christo linked to monumental projects created with Jeanne-Claude. Featuring works connected to installations in Sydney, Turin, Paris and London, the exhibition offers a rare insight into the creative process behind the artists’ celebrated large scale public artworks and temporary architectural transformations.
The Practice of Liberation at The Whitworth is the first UK institutional museum exhibition by acclaimed contemporary artist Michaela Yearwood-Dan. Bringing together painting, ceramics and sound in an immersive installation, the exhibition explores themes of memory, identity, spirituality and liberation through vibrant abstract works accompanied by an original score from composer Alex Gruz.

Benton End: A Paradise of Pollen and Paint at the Garden Museum transports visitors to the creative world of Benton End, the legendary Suffolk home and art school of Cedric Morris and Arthur Lett-Haines. Through paintings, photographs and personal objects, the exhibition explores the remarkable influence the house had on artists, gardeners and cultural figures including Lucian Freud, Beth Chatto and Elizabeth David.

My Relation, Elizabeth Bowen is a richly atmospheric exhibition by Lottie Cole inspired by the life, writing and imagined world of Irish novelist Elizabeth Bowen. Through evocative interior scenes and imagined encounters, the exhibition explores memory, literary history and the subtle connections between biography, place and belonging, drawing on Cole’s own journey through Ireland and fascination with domestic spaces as vessels for storytelling.
Sinatra The Musical arrives in the West End, telling the extraordinary story of Frank Sinatra’s rise to fame, personal struggles and legendary comeback. Starring Joel Harper-Jackson alongside Ana Villafañe and Phoebe Panaretos, the production brings glamour, romance and timeless music to the stage at Aldwych Theatre.

Each night, an actor opens a sealed script they have never seen before and performs it live without rehearsal, creating a completely unique and unrepeatable theatrical experience.
