To Build Perchance to Dream: Homes with Potential

I am rather proud of this selection. I can tell you, it takes some time to find such a curation of houses that mix beauty with a touch of degradation. That being said, around ten percent are really in quite good nick and would only need a thin lick of paint to be back in sturdy shape. But I will speak up for those below, which the casual observer might dismiss as nothing more than a dump. We, of fine fettle, know better.
We may not have the pockets to manufacture our dreams, but dream we must — and continue in the hope that one day we might have a property that offers not only historic value, but the value that comes from love, care, and heart invested in it
