As you know, we are taking a little break from the old masters of the planet of renting — Airbnb. That being said, I see no reason why you can’t make your way through our lists upon lists of previous finds. All that hard searching might as well be put to some good use. And you, my dear, having a holiday is of the utmost importance.

If you caught the end of our last feature on curtains, you may have seen my small shout-out asking if anyone had a particular topic they'd like me to tackle. One hand went up, and the request was about kitchens. Natalie Tilbury asked, ‘If you're ever in the mood to write about a creative approach to kitchens, I'd be grateful.’

With festival season upon us, we thought we’d highlight a few that might not be on the tip of your tongue. There’s a charming one down in Somerset, held at Worthy Farm — very easy to get tickets, not at all overwhelming in size… I joke, of course. We all know the famous Glastonbury and it has no reason to be on this list.
